We have collected $1450.00.  This does not include the $100 used to open the account.  A big thank you to those of you who’ve been able to send in your money already.  

Lulu is requesting that the last day of February be our deadline for sending her pictures of our deceased loved ones.  Let’s not make her wait that long.  If you have them please start sending them to her.

CHANGES SINCE OUR WEBSITE REUNION LETTER.
To avoid confusion - this is what is needed:  Each family should have a representative for their family and hopefully has been passing on any information either by email, or by a copy of the reunion letter so people can decide if they will be attending or not.

1. Send a check made out to Mary Thomas at 3228 Cross Bend Rd., Plano, TX 75023-5605 and write in the NOTES:  2012 Reunion Dues along with the names of which family members it is paying for.  ($50.00 per person - child under 09 years is free.)

2.  I will deposit the check into our reunion account and update the spread sheet & sign-in sheet that shows you plan to attend and have paid your dues.

3.  Everyone is responsible for their own accommodations.  The reunion will be held on July 28, 2012, at the Clarion/Villas, 4300 W. Wall St., Midland, TX.  If you want to stay there, please call 432 697-3181 and reserve your rooms before they are all booked.  See hotel updates on the website(www.deloerareunion.com)for more info.

4.  Get together with your family to design your tee-shirts, lose weight, practice your talent, and wait for the reunion to roll around to visit with family. 

5.  If you have not already done so, please send Lulu a copy of your deceased family member for her reunion project.  She prefers a 3X5.  Please check www.deloerareunion.com for her address.  


Lulu has no computer so I volunteered to do the paperwork.  She sent me reunion letter to post on our website and my son, Christopher, will post information as needed.  No need to fill out the form to mail to her.  When reunion fees are sent to me I will let her know who has sent their funds and who plans to attend, with children’s ages by boys and girls so she can plan accordingly with prizes.

The cut off date to accept reunion fees is March 10, 2012.  Please do not wait til the last minute as it will be time consuming for me!

Dear Family Members, the reunion will now take place at The Clarion/Villas, 4300 W. Wall St. Midland, TX. on July 28, 2012 but most family members might like to be there the night before for more visiting. The dinner and dance will be on the premises and you are responsible for booking your own reservations.  We have been given a rate of $75.00 plus tax of 10.50 for a total of $85.50 per night.  This hotel is undergoing complete renovations with all new furniture, carpeting, tv’s, etc. Lulu and I were both told that after the renovations the price will go up to 90.00 plus tax per room.  It has 2 indoor swimming pools and they serve a continental breakfast.  Of course you are free to choose where you want to stay.    
 Lulu is requesting a picture of all our family members that have passed since our 1st DeLoera Family Reunion held on August 10, 1991 in Sweetwater, TX.  She prefers a 3X5 size copy (not original as it will be used and not returned) and needs it as soon as possible to work on her reunion project.   
My records show there have been 43 family members that are not with us   that attended our previous reunions.
